Beetlebums Baby Carriers are a fashionable and completely functional necessity for any mama or papa! They were launched in Australia in December 2008, and are still made lovingly by me, one by one, in my home.

I designed this unique and wonderful carrier through a necessity for beauty and form - the panels in the body are form fitting to create a deep seat to ensure true comfort for both the wearer and wearee!

All webbing has elastic loops to enable you to wrap the strap and secure it, eliminating strap dangle.

The sleephood attaches to the shoulder straps via snaps, professionally applied with a KAM press. I love this, its easy to just pop the hood on without fuss when bub is asleep.

Materials used for Beetlebums Carriers are all first quality and tested by me. I love using canvas for the body for additional support, however sometimes you may spot a denim, twill or babycord Beetlebums Carrier. The feature print is either premium quality quilters cotton (backed with canvas for support and stabilisation) or canvas.

Beetlebums carriers were tested on babies of all ages, the youngest being three weeks and the oldest four years old. For the younger babies, using the 'froggy' method is best. I personally think that these carriers come into their own from three months up.
